American Legion Charles L Martin Post 1948 is proud to present the 4th Annual Veterans Day 5K Run & Walk in honor and support of our veterans.

This exciting event will occur on Saturday, November 12, 2022, beginning at 7:30 AM at 1 Court Square (The Fountain), winding its way through downtown Montgomery, Cottage Hill and ending at The Alley.

  • Each participant will receive a Free T-shirt!
  • Refreshments will be served after the race.
  • Awards will be given to participants.
    • $100 for a team of four, $30 for an individual participant, $10 for veterans, students and youth 13 - 17.

    Please make checks payable to P.E.E.R.S. and mail to 616 Clayton Street, Montgomery, AL 36104. Please be sure to fill out your registration form to completion and send in your registration fees prior to the event.

P.E.E.R.S. Caring Home for Veterans was founded in 2017 with a goal is to help rid our community of veteran homelessness. P.E.E.R.S. aim to provide veterans leaving treatment centers and incarcerated environments with a healthy, holistic, strength-based, structured, clean and safe home environment that will give them a sense of value and improve their self-esteem. We make Veterans a priority!
