Fred Williams

Commander Fred Williams of the American Legion, Charles L. Martin-Post 1948 and the Executive Director of the P.E.E.R.S. Caring Home for Veterans would like to thank each and every one of you that has a kind and caring enough heart to lend support to our homeless veterans in any manner. Commander Williams himself was once a homeless veteran and fully understand the varying, and often misunderstood and neglected causes of veterans homelessness in America. His own personal experiences with self-medicating and becoming a homeless victim lead him to found the P.E.E.R.S. Caring Home for Veterans.

He strongly believes that America’s veterans deserve far more than a mere “…thank you for your service.” He believes all veterans should be given utmost consideration in the proposal of legislation and the passing of laws the directly affect human care programs in our country. He is dedicated to one day having programs like P.E.E.R.S. establish the model and framework of programs to help rid his state – and our country as a whole – of veteran homelessness. He continuously strives to form a coalition with his local City Councilmen, County Commissioners, Governor, Senators and Legislators to understand and back the needs of our country’s most dedicated and patriotic cit – our veterans.

He feels that our military survivors should not have to return home to become an MIA – Missing In America.

Please support the P.E.E.R.S. Caring Home for Veterans and help provide a loving home for a homeless veteran in need. Once again, we thank you in advance for your support.

No matter what the occasion or cause for support, Commander Fred Williams and the American Legion’s, Charles L. Martin-Post 1948 are there to lend encouragement – be it a College Hall of Fame induction, support of friends and unity, or simply because his presence was needed for in support of a local homeless veterans cause. He always exhibits willingness and loyal to the commitment of supporting ANYTHING beneficial to the enhancement of organizations dedicated to the advancements of a society that recognizes how important our veteran’s dedication and commitment afford us the opportunity to be proud to be “An American.
